Freeze?
Well,If you
have ever used a college computer or a computer in internet cafe you will have
a bit of experience of this.DEEP FREEZE is used mostly in computers that are
open for public usage.The thing is DEEP FREEZE gives a special protection that
neither virus-guard nor a Firewall can give.
DEEP FREEZE
Can freeze your hard drive to a certain status,So if anyone change that hard
drive files just a restart will revert that files to the previous status.So
don’t try this software if you do not want to freeze your computer or if its
not used by public users.
How to
Install
- Download Deep Freeze web installer
- Open “deep-freeze-windows-malavida.exe” and allow for web connection
- Installer will download “Faronics_DFS.zip” file to your desktop
- Extract “Faronics_DFS.zip” and Open “DFStd.exe”
- Click Yes when asked for any permission
- Install using Serial Key given below
- When Installation completed, windows will automatically restarted
- After restart Enter a Password and click Apply and reboot again
- You are done
How to
Disable Deep Freeze
- Hold down the shift key and double-click the Deep Freeze icon. Alternatively, you can press CTRL+ALT+SHIFT+F6
- Enter your password and click OK
- If you have not yet entered a password you should be able to click OK without entering a password
- The Boot Options dialog is displayed. Select “Boot Thawed” and click OK. This will disable Deep Freeze on the next reboot
- Reboot your computer. After the computer reboots, Deep Freeze will be disabled
How to
Uninstall
- Before performing uninstallation process you need to disable Deep Freeze
- Locate the installation file you used to install Deep Freeze on your computer. By default, the name of this file is called “DFStd.exe”
- Run the installation file (DF5Std.exe or DF6Std.exe)
- Select the option to “Uninstall”
- Deep Freeze will uninstall and your computer will be rebooted
This
Application is tested only on Windows 7. Windows XP user will occur some
